Ex-Springbok rugby star and now Saracens director of rugby Brendan Venter has a bit of fun with a Sky Sports reporter following the loss of his team to Racing Metro in Round 3 of the Heineken Cup. I’m going to go out on a limb here and say he was trying to be sarcastic. Not sure it worked, but it’s the greatest post-game interview in the history of the world. Ever. It has been interpreted by many as Venter’s protest against a 25,000 euro fine imposed by European Rugby Cup for being “inappropriately critical of ERC, the tournament, match officials and the sport of rugby union” following his team’s Pool Two game against Leinster at Wembley in October.

Venter came on as a replacement for James Small in the 1995 Rugby World Cup final in which South Africa beat New Zealand to land their first world cup. (See: Invictus)

By the way, Sireli Bombo is probably the coolest sports name ever. Three cheers for Sireli Bombo!

Hugh Jackman tries to kill himself on live TV after being included as an “Australian hero” in Oprah Winfrey’s Ultimate Australian Adventure.

“Aah mate, I seem to have busted my eye open ziplining, can I please have a tissue?”
That’s what you get for taking your show to Australia.
