On May 12th, a woman in Rochester, New York, was arrested for taping a traffic stop in front of her 19th Ward Home. Emily Good was standing in front of her house with a hand held recording device when the arrest happened. Officer Mario Masic, Rochester Police Department, executed the illegal arrest.

On June 23rd at a neighbourhood meeting in support of Emily Good, the Rochester police sent four squad cars to ticket the cars of meeting attendees who parked more than 12 inches from the curb. Yes, they even brought a pink ruler. Coincidence?

“Oh really? You’ve had some civilian complaints regarding the cars here parking further than 12 inches from the curb?” – (bs meter explodes)

Meanwhile, in Washington DC, two journalists were arrested yesterday while recording a public meeting of the D.C. Taxicab Commission. Later, in an effort to get an explanation about the incident, reporter Mark Segraves went to the commission office and was thrown out by security. The door to the office was subsequently locked, and the lights turned off — leaving the entire cab commission office in the dark.
